ERI collaborated with Dr. Christopher Seabury, PhD, of Texas A&M University, and his team on a study which resulted in a paper titled, "Molecular Characterization of the Rocky Mountain Elk (Cervus elaphus nelsoni) PRNP Putative Promoter". ERI provided financial support as well as critical data from their research herd.  The new findings further the understanding of the role genetics play regarding CWD.
